Corporate Development Associate- M&A | AMD
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at AMD, located in Santa Clara, CA. AMD builds great products that accelerate next-generation computing experiences across AI and data centers, to PCs, gaming, and embedded systems. This role is crucial for shaping and executing AMD’s inorganic growth strategy, identifying, evaluating, and executing deals aligned with the company’s long-term strategic objectives. The individual will play a pivotal role in advancing AMD’s mission to push the limits of innovation and solve important challenges.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Analysis: Perform financial analyses, including DCF, IRR, and ROIC, to support AMD’s growth strategy.
• Industry Monitoring: Monitor and summarize financial research on industry peers, partners, and companies for senior leadership.
• Strategic Recommendations: Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to develop business cases and strategic recommendations.
• Deal Execution: Partner with cross-functional teams to execute deals and lead due diligence efforts.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, with core domain knowledge in financial analysis and M&A.
• Experience: Progressive experience in top-tier investment banking, private equity, or corporate development roles, specifically focused on the technology sector, with expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and M&A analysis, including deal structures and related considerations.
• Skills: Expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, M&A analysis, ability to prioritize, and project management in dynamic environments.
