Role: Consulting Team Member (Unpaid Internship)

As a member of our consulting team, you will collaborate on challenging projects with individuals from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. This role is designed to enhance your understanding of complex business problems, develop new skills, and provide valuable experience that will benefit you throughout your career.

Key Duties Include:

  • Working in teams of 6-8 to tackle real-world business problems over the course of the project.
  • Conducting market trends predictions and providing strategic suggestions.
  • Developing innovative solutions for complex client situations to ensure goals and objectives are met and results are delivered on time.
  • Developing primary research sources among industry contacts, customers, suppliers, and competitors relevant to your research.
  • Understanding sector, currency, political, and regulatory risks where applicable.
  • Performing financial analysis and modeling of companies under your coverage.
  • Analyzing financial performance, returns on capital, and valuation.
  • Determining, developing, and delivering innovative strategies and tools to target new and current clients.
  • Identifying information sources, gathering and interpreting data, executing analysis, and presenting findings to case team members and client stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled as a first, second, or final year university student. Master’s and PhD students are also welcome to apply.
  • Ability to commit to this position for a minimum of three months.
  • Blackmont Membership: Successful applicants will need to become a Blackmont Member via our website (www.blackmontconsulting.com). Please note that this membership fee is allocated to cover organizational maintenance costs such as website hosting, software programs, and the provision of courses and training. As a non-profit organization, we do not charge our clients, but we do have operational costs to cover.

The Program:

We are continuously seeking bright individuals eager to contribute to providing outstanding business solutions to our clients. Previous working experience is advantageous but not essential.
