• Mission: Expand Visa’s acceptance footprint and boost client business in the Central American and Caribbean region by leading high-impact consulting projects.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Develop and implement Issuing, Commercial Solutions, and Government Solutions consulting projects for accounts in CARCAM markets and for Regional Multinational Clients.
• Drive: Execute the VCA strategy across Central America & the Caribbean, proactively capitalizing on regional opportunities.
• Coordinate: Ensure collaboration with internal teams for the execution of specific acceptance activities stemming from VCA consulting recommendations.
• Cultivate: Manage a pipeline of client work, from identifying potential opportunities to scoping the associated engagements.
• Deploy: Implement frameworks, approaches, solutions, and recommendations that effectively address impactful client opportunities and challenges.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager-level professional with 5 or more years of work experience and a Bachelor’s Degree, or 8-10 years with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA), or 6+ years with a PhD, ideally in a quantitative field such as engineering, economics, or finance.
• Experience: 5+ years working in the payments industry, preferably managing cards portfolios or relevant payments management experience at consulting firms, with demonstrated expertise in strategy and management consulting project delivery.
• Skills: Strong project and sales management, executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication, client relationship management, analytical management, and knowledge of payment schemes including products and processes.
• Bonus: Fluent in both English and Spanish, with a self-motivated and results-oriented approach to handling numerous concurrent projects.
