What You’ll Actually Do
• Drawing Interpretation: Interpret design drawings for project bidding and building construction.
• Documentation Management: Prepare and distribute required documentation, including status reports, punch lists, sketches, and material calculations, to the supervisor.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and direction regarding project materials meeting specifications, delivery dates, and construction schedules.
• Estimation Assistance: Assist with change orders and estimates by preparing drawings and sketches to support changing job requirements.
• Cost Control Support: Maintain accurate records of quantities for work performed and materials installed for project cost controls.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career individual with a High School Diploma or GED, currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 0-2 years in construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar roles.
• Skills: Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ability to perform trigonometric calculations, and effective communication skills.
• Bonus: Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive, a team-player mindset, and willingness to comply with company safety initiatives and Code of Conduct.
