This Compliance Intern role is vital in supporting the Compliance business unit by ensuring adherence to federal regulations and maintaining crucial documentation, contributing directly to the company’s operational integrity and continued success.

What You’ll Actually Do
• I-9 Record Audit: Conduct an audit of employee Form I-9 records, identifying missing, incomplete, or incorrect documentation, and assist with obtaining and correcting required forms to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Driver Qualification Verification: Perform an audit of Technician driver qualification records, including driver’s licenses and DOT medical cards, verifying that all required documents are current and properly maintained, and facilitating updates.
• Fuel Sample Reporting: Report dirty fuel samples to 7-Eleven using the Contractor Fuel Sample Reporting Portal, accurately entering and maintaining reporting information, and tracking submissions while keeping organized records of reported incidents.
• Confidential Record Keeping: Maintain organized electronic and paper records for the Compliance business unit, ensuring the confidentiality and security of all employee information.
• Administrative Project Support: Assist with additional administrative or compliance-related projects as assigned, providing flexible support to the Compliance team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student, currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a college or university program, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Not specified in years. No prior experience is strictly required, but familiarity with employment or compliance documentation is a plus.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities; proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook; ability to handle confidential information professionally; strong written and verbal communication skills; and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
• Bonus: Experience with data entry or general administrative support.
