What You’ll Actually Do
• Brand Ambassador: Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations, actively representing the company at popular local attractions such as malls or theme parks, and attending events like trade shows, festivals, and conferences to connect with the public.
• Customer Engagement: Engage in face-to-face conversations with prospective customers, sharing comprehensive information about the vacation club experience and its benefits.
• Sales Presentation Incentive: Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend an award-winning sales-preview tour, in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements, while also making sales-tour reservations and collecting required deposits.
• Customer Qualification: Screen and qualify potential customers effectively based on established company guidelines, ensuring alignment with sales criteria.
• Continuous Learning: Attend all scheduled training sessions and department meetings, actively keeping current on marketing information, materials, industry trends, and continuously setting and reviewing performance goals weekly, monthly, and annually to maintain minimum performance standards.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or equivalent is required; experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, though not required; must also maintain production standards.
• Skills: Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills are essential for engaging with the public; ability to work effectively in a team environment within a shared space; proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, general computer skills, and smart devices for administrative tasks.
