The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Microsoft, located in Germany, within the Commercial Sales Clinical Applications (HLS) Team. This team focuses on empowering customers on their digital journey by envisioning new possibilities, delivering solutions, and driving revenue growth for Microsoft. As a Commercial Executive, you act as a trusted advisor, leading the design and execution of commercial strategy and negotiations to ensure compliant and profitable deals. • Mission: This person leads commercial strategy and negotiation to drive Azure Consumption Revenue, reduce consumption time, and ensure a seamless transition to the new commerce platform, while ensuring compliant and profitable deals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Drive revenue outcomes by partnering with sellers, providing clear commercial guidance, and orchestrating deals across internal stakeholders.
• Structure deals that drive annuity and cloud growth by proactively engaging with customer, partner, and account teams during lifecycle management planning.
• Develop pricing scenarios, commercial deal proposals, and close-plan strategies that achieve revenue goals, based on customer business needs and ethical selling principles.
• Identify and capitalize on business opportunities, such as upsell, cross-sell, and footprint expansion, across the deal lifecycle and AI-enabled customer solutions.
• Negotiate contractual amendments within empowerment, handle objections, and escalate issues as appropriate to optimize investment, balance customer value, and ensure clean deal processing.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Law, Marketing, Finance, Communication, Education, or a related field; alternatively, equivalent experience.
• Experience: Several years of sales and negotiation experience, or related work or internship experience, including working with public procurement processes in Germany.
• Skills: Business fluency in German and English; ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders; analytical skills to identify trends, risks, and opportunities from data.
• Bonus: Experience managing complex commercial negotiations and stakeholder environments; Master’s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Law, or Marketing; business fluency in French.
