What You’ll Actually Do
• Daily Operations: Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment and areas, locking doors, and ensuring all appliances are turned on or off as required.
• Order Management: Take customer orders, record them accurately in the MICROS system, and prepare various food and coffee beverages.
• Cashiering and Reconciliation: Input orders into the cash register system, collect payments, obtain necessary change, and accurately count and reconcile the bank at the end of each shift.
• Work Environment Maintenance: Bus coffee cart areas and tables, and thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, work areas, and equipment throughout the day.
• Guest Engagement: Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address their service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express thanks with genuine appreciation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Non-management level, requiring a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Experience: No prior related work experience is required; no supervisory experience is necessary for this role.
• Skills: Proficiently operating cash register systems and handling payments; preparing food and coffee beverages to standard; performing thorough cleaning and maintenance of work areas and equipment; managing cash banks and completing cashier reports; diligently following all company safety, security, and cleanliness policies; providing professional guest service and communication; and demonstrating teamwork to support common goals.
