Coalitions Manager – Interfaith | Letitia James for Attorney General
The Tone:
This is a full-time, cycle-length position with James for NY, operating across New York State through November 2026. The campaign is the re-election effort for New York Attorney General Letitia James, who has dedicated her career to fighting for New Yorkers. This role is critical for building a diverse statewide team and ensuring effective engagement with the state’s vibrant faith communities.

• Type: Full-time, cycle-length position running through November 2026
• Location: Statewide, New York
• Pay: $8000 monthly + $1,000 healthcare stipend
• Team: Works within the campaign’s outreach efforts, integrating with scheduling, regional, and field teams.
• Mission: Builds and runs the campaign’s engagement with faith communities across New York, covering various denominations, traditions, and boroughs.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Build and maintain relationships with faith leaders across diverse traditions in every region of the state.
• Recruit: Stand up and manage a faith leadership advisory council to provide consistent engagement with New York’s faith communities.
• Plan & Execute: Organize and manage congregation visits, roundtables, and faith-community events for the Attorney General and campaign surrogates.
• Identify & Cultivate: Develop and secure validators from faith communities to speak publicly in their own communities and to the press.
• Integrate & Ensure: Connect faith outreach to the campaign’s regional and constituency programs, ensuring all engagement with faith communities is culturally appropriate and respectful.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Experience organizing in or alongside faith communities, whether in campaigns, advocacy, or congregational life.
• Experience: Fluency and comfort working across multiple faith traditions, with strong event and convening skills.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, coupled with the ability to work evenings and weekends, and travel statewide when necessary.
• Bonus: Existing networks among New York clergy and faith institutions, experience building advisory councils or leadership tables, and fluency in a language other than English.
