Job Description

Job Title: Cloud Enablement Software Engineer Intern

Internship Period: Summer 2026, from Mid-May to Mid-August. This is a paid internship.

Eligibility:
• This internship is not eligible for relocation assistance; local candidates are preferred.
• Positions are not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa), including situations where a candidate may have temporary work authorization (e.g., CPT, OPT) but would require H-1B visa sponsorship within a few years of employment to maintain eligibility.

Team Overview: As a Software Engineer Intern, you will join the Cloud Enablement team. This team is dedicated to empowering technologists across the entire enterprise to transition their workloads to the Cloud using repeatable and reusable patterns. Their core focus is on building reusable service couplings and comprehensive documentation to facilitate the adoption of cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities (Things you will do):
• Design and deploy scalable, secure, and reusable platforms and services utilizing Terraform in the public cloud.
• Create reusable patterns that incorporate secure configurations to promote a “shift-left” approach to security.
• Develop documentation for the community to aid in understanding and adopting cloud solutions.
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions related to product development.
• Adhere to internal development best practices and the complete development lifecycle, including Testing, Code Reviews, CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment), Documentation, and Demos.

Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Prior development experience (e.g., proficiency in Python, Java).
• Experience working with Git for version control.
• Basic experience with Linux operating systems.
• Comfortability in communicating with teams through showcases and demos.
