Remote Cloud Bookkeeper | System Six

This role is critical for delivering day-to-day bookkeeping and finance tasks for hundreds of customers nationwide, ensuring accuracy and client satisfaction while fostering a joyful work environment.

• Mission: Owns the accurate and timely completion of day-to-day bookkeeping and finance tasks for a diverse client base.
• Tech Stack: QBO, Bill.com or Ramp, Gusto or other payroll software, Karbon, Double

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Operations: Handle day-to-day operational tasks for clients, including transaction entry, invoicing, and bill payments.
• Financial Processing: Prepare payroll, execute journal entries, and perform reconciliations for various clients.
• Task Management: Utilize Karbon, the practice management system, to organize and successfully manage work across multiple clients.
• Client Interaction: Interact with clients periodically to answer specific questions or politely seek necessary information.
• Team Collaboration: Proactively ask questions of senior staff and team members when clarification is needed on client books or systems.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum of 3 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience in a multi-client environment, with a college degree preferred.
• Experience: Proficient in day-to-day transactional coding, reconciling, AP processing, AR, payroll processing, month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Skills: Ability to manage deadlines across multiple clients, excellent communication skills across digital channels, keen attention to detail for accuracy and integrity, and an innate desire for continuous improvement.
• Bonus: Experience with Karbon and Double cloud accounting technologies.
