What You’ll Actually Do
• Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct detailed clinical assessments of prospective clients to determine the appropriate level of care, use standardized tools to determine a diagnosis, and develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and clinical guidelines.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Provide virtual individual, group, and/or family therapy using evidence-based therapeutic techniques (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR), facilitate crisis interventions for patients in distress, and implement treatment plans while tracking progress and making adjustments as needed.
• Case Management & Coordination: Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, connect clients with community resources, monitor client progress, follow up on care plans, and facilitate appropriate referrals.
• Documentation & Authorization: Maintain detailed, accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge notes, and clinical outcomes, ensuring timely completion according to professional and legal standards. Prepare necessary reports for various entities and coordinate prompt authorization requests.
• Patient Education & Collaboration: Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies, provide psychoeducation, encourage engagement in ongoing treatment, attend clinical supervision and staff meetings, and coordinate weekly marketing initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, or CAC, CCMHC, NCC certification.
• Experience: At least 4 years of experience or practicum in the treatment field, specifically with group and individual therapy, and experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with serious mental illness or co-occurring disorders.
• Skills: Proficiency in telehealth technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems, strong understanding of treatment modalities and therapeutic interventions, working knowledge of the DSM-V, and excellent written/verbal communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Bonus: Preferred state licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent), access to a secure, private location for conducting telehealth sessions, and a reliable internet connection that meets telehealth platform standards.
