Job Description
Position Title: Flexible Schedule Clinical Data Abstractor
Location: 100% Remote (Applicants must reside within the continental United States)
Employment Type: Part-Time, W2 Employee (Non-Benefit Position)
Compensation: Hourly rate of $28-$32
About the Role:
Carta Healthcare Inc. is seeking experienced and talented individuals to join their growing team as Part-Time Clinical Data Abstractors. This role offers a flexible work schedule, promoting a balanced work-life experience while contributing to the company’s mission of transforming healthcare data.
Key Responsibilities:
• Abstracting Patient Information: Accurately abstract patient data from various medical records.
• Coding Patient Information: Code patient information derived from medical records.
• Registry Compliance: Ensure all abstracted and coded data meets the specific requirements of various target registries.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical data abstraction experience.
• EMR Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Data Accuracy: Ability to maintain a 98% or higher Inter-Rater Reliability (IRR) score, indicating high accuracy and consistency in abstraction.
• Availability: Must be available to complete a minimum of 60 abstraction hours monthly.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Remote Work Experience: Previous experience working in a remote environment is preferred.
