Client Services Associate (NR) | Stifel

• Team: Supports Financial Advisor(s); reports to Financial Advisor(s) and/or Branch Manager.
• Mission: Assist Financial Advisors with client account management and provide administrative and customer service support to ensure efficient operations.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Account Management: Open and maintain client accounts and records, including ongoing account coding based on client features.
• Record Keeping & Documentation: Obtain all required documents for account establishment and organize complete client account and trade-related records for FAs and the branch office.
• Client Service & Support: Fulfill client-related requests, such as check requests, wiring funds, and address changes, and provide account information upon request.
• Administrative Operations: Perform a variety of administrative duties including word processing, preparing mailings, filing, answering phones, and securing approvals for FA communications and advertisements.
• Compliance & Escalation: Identify and escalate suspicious client or employee activity, or other critical situations, to Financial Advisors or the Branch Manager.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, along with a general understanding of the investment brokerage industry, securities regulations, and basic investment products.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clerical or related industry experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
• Skills: Strong time management to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines; critical thinking for problem-solving; excellent customer and interpersonal skills including needs assessment and evaluation of satisfaction; and clear communication skills with excellent grammar and etiquette.
