What You’ll Actually Do
• Oversight: Provide leadership and direction for IT hardware asset management functions in a high-volume, enterprise environment.
• Team Management: Manage the daily work activities of large, multi-location teams, including timelines, customer experience, relationship management, and workflow prioritization.
• Program Activities: Execute program management responsibilities such as budget and forecasting analysis, staffing, performance management, service improvement, and quality assurance.
• Issue Resolution: Ensure support staff utilize necessary tools to identify, document, track, and resolve reported problems, while also addressing customer issues and disputes.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor, review, and analyze incident management performance metrics and recurring issues, proactively recommending prevention and resolution strategies.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, with experience leading teams in IT hardware asset management.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years performing IT hardware asset management functions and responsibilities in a large enterprise.
• Skills: Data analysis, problem-solving, program management, strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bonus: ITIL v4 Foundations certification and ITIL intermediate certification (Managing Professional, Strategic Leader, or Practice Manager).
