Claims Risk Analyst | Bloomin’ Brands, Inc.

The Claims Risk Analyst is crucial for providing both analytical and administrative support to the company’s workers’ compensation and general liability programs. This position ensures effective claims data reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and smooth coordination of critical initiatives like the Return-to-Work program, directly contributing to the company’s financial health and employee well-being.

• Mission: Provide operational and analytical support to the workers’ compensation and general liability programs.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Return-to-Work Program: Administer and track the Return-to-Work program, including monitoring modified duty placements, their duration, and related performance metrics.
• Regulatory Compliance & Recordkeeping: Support OSHA recordkeeping and reporting requirements by maintaining OSHA logs and preparing documentation for review and submission, while also assisting with Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reporting and related compliance.
• Claims Data Reporting & Analysis: Run and distribute standard and ad hoc analytical reports from Origami RMIS, prepare recurring reports on claim activity, trends, OSHA metrics, and Return-to-Work performance, and assist in identifying basic claim trends.
• General Liability & Property Claims Support: Provide support to the General Liability Early Resolution Program and assist with documentation intake and tracking for third-party property damage claims, coordinating collection of invoices, estimates, and photographs.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Support Operations and Risk teams by reinforcing incident reporting procedures, provide guidance to field teams regarding documentation expectations, and support special projects and additional reporting needs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered in claims administration, insurance operations, risk management, or data/reporting support.
• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in claims administration, insurance operations, risk management, or data/reporting support roles.
• Skills: Proficiency in Origami RMIS or similar claims management systems, strong Microsoft Excel skills including report generation and basic data analysis, strong organizational and documentation management skills, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Basic understanding of workers’ compensation and general liability concepts preferred.
