What You’ll Actually Do
• Calculations: Perform engineering calculations and develop cost estimates for civil projects.
• Design: Prepare drawings, layouts, and other engineering drafting, including completing Civil design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
• Field Support: Conduct field investigations and documentation, and provide construction related services such as meeting attendance and shop drawing reviews.
• Documentation: Write letters, memoranda, technical reports, and summaries, and assist in developing plans and reports.
• Research: Assist in collecting data, researching utility records, and coordinating with authorities and contractors on job sites.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, with an early career level of experience.
• Experience: 2-4 years of industry experience in civil engineering roles.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of Civil 3D software, proficiency with Bluebeam software, and demonstrated ability to perform engineering calculations.
• Bonus: Ability to obtain Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification within 6 months.
