Circular Center Logistics Technician | Microsoft

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Logistics Operations: Execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, documenting all inbound and outbound packages accurately and applying appropriate customs documentation for outbound items.
• Oversee Inventory Control: Conduct cycle audits, perform data corrections, and manage physical inventory tracking and staging to ensure inventory accuracy and optimize space.
• Perform Device Destruction: Carry out the destruction of data bearing devices (DBDs) in accordance with all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Microsoft policies.
• Support Warranty Processes: Initiate warranty claims, process failed vendor hardware devices for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), and manage manual return and ordering processes for OEM parts.
• Ensure Operational Safety and Security: Coordinate security escorts for third-party vendors, engage in Task Hazard Analysis for every task, and comply with all security and safety procedures.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma AND 6 months experience or an internship in inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field, OR equivalent experience.
• Experience: 6 months experience or an internship in inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field.
• Skills: Inventory management principles, data entry, logistics operations, compliance with security/data management/safety policies, warranty process management, customer service.
• Bonus: 2+ years experience in warehouse/supply chain in an information technology (IT) environment, IT, and/or logistics, operating heavy-load movement equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks, chassis lifts) for a large corporation.
