The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person role at Morgan & Morgan, P.A., a prominent personal injury law firm. The firm serves as a critical last line of defense for millions of Americans, advocating against powerful insurance companies, large corporations, and manufacturers of defective goods. In this role, the Case Manager plays a key part in this mission, directly contributing to the fight for consumer rights and ensuring every client receives the dedicated support they need.

The TL;DR

• Mission: To diligently support attorneys by organizing and managing a varied caseload, facilitating settlement development, and ensuring the accurate preparation of all required legal documents and correspondence, all in service of fighting for consumer rights.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Interaction: Daily interact with existing and potential clients via telephone and in person, providing empathetic and customer-focused support.
• Record Acquisition: Order and obtain crucial medical records from providers, along with other documents necessary to support injury and/or liability positions.
• Provider & Carrier Communication: Actively interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure required records and outstanding account balances.
• Demand Preparation: Prepare comprehensive settlement demands and assemble all supporting documentation for submission to carriers under attorney supervision.
• Case File Management: Manage individual case files from initial intake through to closing, coordinating with attorneys and coworkers throughout the process.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level position. Candidates should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: Strongly preferred is prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager or Prelitigation Paralegal. Alternatively, at least 2 years of professional experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is strongly preferred.
• Skills: This role requires a highly organized individual with the ability to skillfully multi-task, prioritize assignments, and effectively manage a varied workload with minimal supervision. Strong writing and communication skills are essential, coupled with meticulous attention to detail. Candidates must also possess extensive computer and database expertise, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and be able to type no less than 35 words per minute.
• Bonus: A proactive approach to interacting with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers, alongside a demonstrated ability to be a collaborative team player and consistently adhere to established procedures.
