This role matters because it directly supports clients in improving financial reporting, strengthening accounting processes, and making informed business decisions. What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Support: Support various client accounting and advisory engagements, ensuring their financial and operational needs are met.
• Financial Reporting: Assist with month-end close processes and the preparation of accurate financial statements.
• Performance Analysis: Prepare financial forecasts, detailed financial analysis, and key performance indicator (KPI) reports.
• Transactional Processing: Handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Tax and Compliance: Assist with business tax filings, including 1096, 1099, payroll, and sales tax filings.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, providing a strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of accounting experience is required, with relevant internship experience potentially considered. CPA eligibility is also a must-have for this position.
• Skills: You must possess strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and strong organizational and time-management skills. Effective written and verbal communication, alongside a strong client-service orientation, are also essential.
• Bonus: Candidates with an active CPA certification are preferred. Prior experience in Public Accounting, Audit, Assurance, or CAS roles is highly valued, particularly for individuals motivated to grow their Client Advisory Services expertise.
