Capital Markets Analyst | Coventry

This Capital Markets Analyst position is crucial for the continued success and growth of the firm. You will support Coventry’s capital markets initiatives by establishing, maintaining, and growing relationships with both existing and potential investors, and by assisting in the planning, analysis, and execution of new growth opportunities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Market and Investor Research: Conduct in-depth research on companies, investors, and various market trends to inform and refine capital markets strategies.
• Investor Relations and Outreach: Engage in active outreach and represent Coventry at conferences, both domestically and internationally, to establish and nurture key business relationships with investors.
• Financial Analysis and Modeling: Perform detailed analysis of potential investment opportunities, constructing complex financial models, analyses, and charts, while also assisting in due diligence for M&A activities.
• Documentation and Reporting: Systematically prepare essential materials such as deal summaries, term sheets, and internal reports, including writing call reports and maintaining the comprehensive company database.
• Project Management Support: Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external resources to ensure the smooth planning and execution of various capital markets and growth initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Not less than 2 years of experience in a similar capital markets role. Candidates should possess a general knowledge of capital markets infrastructure and various financial products, complemented by familiarity with key financial modeling concepts such as discounted cash flow analysis.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is required. The ability to confidently engage in conversations and establish new business relationships is also essential for success in this role.
