The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles, CA. TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, aiming to inspire creativity and bring joy to over a billion global users. This role is crucial for scaling the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt phenomenon, pioneering content and creator commerce in the US, and making TikTok the leading commerce platform of choice for brands, creators, and shoppers. The intern will help build an e-commerce ecosystem that delivers high-quality products and a unique customer experience.

• Pay: $38 hourly
• Team: The TikTok Shop US operation team, responsible for building e-commerce partnerships.
• Mission: Deliver high-quality products and a unique customer experience by making TikTok the commerce channel of choice for merchants, creators, and affiliates.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Account Management: Drive business growth for key accounts on TikTok Shop by leveraging platform expertise.
• Content Strategy: Expand live shopping content by increasing the presence of high-potential creator talents.
• Partnership Development: Connect creators, partners, and sellers to identify and secure potential business opportunities.
• Strategic Consulting: Offer data-driven insights and product recommendations to merchants for growth and development strategies.
• Innovation: Identify and develop new business models and solutions for merchants by utilizing ecosystem resources.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing an MBA Degree, with an interest in the commerce industry and e-commerce.
• Experience: Ability to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer Fall 2026.
• Skills: Independent execution and strong time management for multiple initiatives; proactive, action-oriented approach; negotiation and collaboration skills with diverse partners; effective and compelling communication for client engagements; analytical and logical problem-solving.
• Bonus: Quick learner and adaptable to a rapidly changing business environment; creative mindset focused on educating sellers for growth; strong documentation and presentation skills for external situations; familiarity with TikTok and other content platforms.
