STEP Associate (Sales Rotational Program) | Echo Electric

The Tone:
This is a 12-month full-time sales rotational program at Echo Electric, located in Eastlake, OH. Echo Electric, a brand owned by Sonepar, is a leader in electrical distribution, representing over $1.2 billion in sales across a broad Midwest region. This program is designed to intensively educate, train, and develop emerging professionals in every aspect of the business, fostering an adapt, dare, learn mindset to contribute to the company’s success. The role is critical in cultivating future leaders who will drive innovative solutions and sustain Echo Electric’s strong local roots as part of a global leader.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Gain hands-on experience across critical business operations including warehouse/logistics, inside sales/counter, projects & quotations, and marketing/digital solutions/e-commerce.
• Develop expertise in sales strategies and client engagement through outside sales and specialty track rotations.
• Participate in team-building activities and specialized training to enhance understanding of the business and develop leadership skills.
• Explore site and corporate operations, procurement, project management, and the Sonepar USA business philosophy through comprehensive exposure.
• Present strategic organizational initiatives to the Executive Leadership team at the program’s conclusion.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum GPA of 3.0 required; program is designed for emerging professionals seeking career development.
• Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; a flexible and adaptable team player with an enthusiastic, self-starter attitude.
