This is a Campus Intern internship at Sodexo, located in New Orleans, LA (Xavier University of Louisiana). The TL;DR

• Location: In-person, New Orleans, LA
• Pay: $15.8–$23.7 hourly
• Mission: Perform and train in various responsibilities under a career concentration, contributing to the overall success of Sodexo’s food and beverage operations and broader business practices.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Support: Assist frontline teams across various facilities by supporting functions such as food service, culinary activities, maintenance, cleaning, equipment use, cooking, and serving.
• Operational Standards: Learn and adhere to specific department guidelines, operating procedures, and safety standards, actively providing feedback to enhance processes as needed.
• Project and Event Management: Execute day-to-day assignments, manage special projects, and provide comprehensive support for event preparation, setup, and service execution, including guest relations.
• Administrative Assistance: Perform essential administrative tasks, including inventory management, data entry, diligent filing, reporting, and updating critical documentation as required.
• Business Acumen Development: Gain valuable insight into Sodexo’s diverse business practices, operational standards, and leadership principles through active contribution to team success in large-scale food and beverage operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Currently pursuing a college degree.
• Experience: No prior experience is required for this role.
• Bonus: Strong interest in pursuing a career in hospitality, food service, facility management, or event management.
