Business Trainee | Extra Mile E-Commerce

The Tone:
This is a full-time Business Trainee position located on-site at Extra Mile E-Commerce headquarters in Elkhorn, NE. Extra Mile E-Commerce is a company building a family of 50+ specialty sports, games, and play brands, which is now expanding into designing and manufacturing its own products nationwide with a goal of $100 million in sales by 2030. This role is crucial for growing the next generation of leaders from within the company, equipping them to help lead business units or key functional areas as Extra Mile rapidly expands.

• Mission: To learn the foundational operations of an e-commerce business through rotations and projects, preparing for future leadership roles within two to three years.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Learning: Understand customer needs, product offerings, and internal systems from the outset.
• Rotation: Gain hands-on experience across e-commerce, marketing, operations, product, and finance departments.
• Projects: Lead significant projects with defined objectives and measurable performance metrics.
• Development: Participate in leadership and business training, including structured book studies and online courses.
• Innovation: Contribute original ideas that directly help grow sales and overall company profit.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; suitable for recent college graduates.
• Experience: No prior professional experience required; must hold a 3.6 GPA or higher.
• Skills: Comfortable with technology, quick to learn new tools, hardworking, coachable, positive, willing to work 50+ hour weeks, and possess a love of reading and learning.
• Bonus: Preference for former college athletes and sports fans.
