Business Program Manager Intern
As a Business Program Manager Intern, you will be an integral part of our team, playing a vital role in supporting our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and talent strategies. Your contributions will span across four key pillars: Talent, Culture, Community, and Marketplace. This dynamic position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders, while providing essential support to both the DEI and Talent teams. Through this internship, you will develop crucial professional skills and directly contribute to meaningful initiatives aimed at shaping and enhancing our inclusive workplace culture.
About The Role
- Assist with the meticulous planning and setup of large-scale meetings and team outings, ensuring smooth execution.
- Contribute to the creation of high-level internal and external presentations using PowerPoint and professional documents in Word.
- Monitor and efficiently manage the TMRN support inbox, providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
- Actively monitor TMRN Slack channels and board meetings, staying informed and prepared to assist.
- Capture comprehensive and clear meeting notes, ensuring accurate records are maintained and shared.
- Provide support for various cross-collaborative projects between the Talent and DEI teams.
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional work or internship experience, demonstrating a foundational understanding of the professional environment.
- Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), showcasing your ability to navigate essential business software.
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, enabling independent and effective work.
- Ability to multitask and balance multiple projects with competing deadlines, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- Strong business acumen and communication skills, allowing for effective interaction and understanding of business objectives.
- Capacity to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion, maintaining confidentiality and trust.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of education in relevant fields such as Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Marketing, Human Resources, Communications, or Business.
- Previous experience with DEI initiatives or programs, indicating a passion for and understanding of inclusive practices.
- Strong writing and communication skills, vital for crafting clear and impactful messages.
- Previous internship experience in a corporate environment, providing familiarity with corporate dynamics.
