Business Process Analyst Principal | General Dynamics Information Technology

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at General Dynamics Information Technology, located remotely across the USA. GDIT is a leading IT and mission services provider to the government, specializing in healthcare organizations. This position is vital to the Federal EHR Modernization program, enabling millions of healthcare professionals by supporting the Indian Health Service (IHS) mission. This role directly contributes to the strategic direction of the business and impactful mission outcomes.

• Mission: To support the Federal EHR Modernization program for the Indian Health Service by optimizing processes, managing program operations, and ensuring compliance and communication.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Acquisitions: Initiate and track acquisitions through their entire lifecycle, including conducting Labor Category verifications.
• Develop Documentation: Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) and route Project Work Authorization (PWA) requests for timely approvals.
• Generate Reports: Track and maintain updates for Monthly Progress Reports (MPRs) and create/maintain task order tracking artifacts.
• Facilitate Communication: Support Task Order Managers during Partner Calls by preparing agendas, capturing action items, and ensuring follow-up.
• Drive Efficiency: Identify opportunities to optimize workflows for routine administrative responsibilities and act as a liaison for effective team communication.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, with equivalent experience considered for this Principal level role.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or Administrative/Operations role. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Level 5 Public Trust clearance.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to travel domestically up to 25%.
• Bonus: Experience with Concur, Workday, SC360, or PowerApps. Prior experience supporting Contract and Task Order Management functions on federal contracts. Familiarity with IHS systems, health IT programs, associated compliance requirements, and preparing deliverables like AIR forms, SOWs, and MPRs.
