Business Operations Intern | The Wild Collective

The Tone:
This is an in-person, hands-on internship at The Wild Collective, specifically for the fall semester. The Wild Collective is a growing company where this role offers significant behind-the-scenes exposure to various operational facets. The intern will play a critical part in maintaining an organized and smoothly running office environment, providing essential support to company leadership, and collaborating with diverse teams on both daily tasks and special projects. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn and contribute to a consumer brand.

• Team: Reports to CEO/COO; collaborates with Marketing and Product Development teams.
• Mission: This person will ensure the office environment is organized, well-stocked, and welcoming, while providing comprehensive operational support to leadership and facilitating seamless collaboration across marketing and product development teams.
• Tech Stack: Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Office Management: Oversee the daily office environment, ensuring the workspace remains consistently organized, tidy, stocked, and welcoming for all team members and visitors.
• Executive Support: Provide direct administrative and logistical support to the CEO and COO, managing daily tasks, scheduling, running errands, conducting research, and assisting with special projects.
• Logistics & Inventory: Manage all aspects of shipping and receiving, including organizing, distributing, and coordinating incoming and outgoing packages, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with basic inventory tracking for product samples and supplies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with both the marketing and product development teams, providing support for campaign preparation, content needs, product launches, event coordination, and overall project organization.
• Operational Improvement: Contribute to overall operational efficiency by maintaining internal documents and shared spaces, proactively identifying areas for improvement in office organization, and taking ownership of emergent operational needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level college student currently enrolled in a university program for the fall semester. Demonstrated interest in key business areas such as operations, entrepreneurship, marketing, product development, fashion, licensing, or broader consumer brands.
• Experience: Proficiency in Google Workspace applications, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar, or a proven ability and willingness to quickly become proficient.
• Skills:

• Reliable, punctual, and highly responsible, with a proactive and resourceful mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
