The Tone:
This is a paid, hourly internship at Piscator, located in Brooklyn, NY. Piscator is a Brooklyn-based seafood pop-up known for whole grilled branzino and display-style cooking, operating a fast-paced ticketing model with growing catering, private events, and seasonal residencies in LA. This role is critical for managing the business’s day-to-day operations and customer interactions, supporting its continued growth and loyal, high-demand following.

• Mission: Own the business side of customer service, private events, catering, and administrative support for a rapidly growing pop-up.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Own the day-to-day customer service, handling all inquiries, direct messages, and ticketing questions across Hotplate, Instagram, and email.
• Event Support: Support private event and catering operations by fielding inquiries, drafting quotes, and coordinating logistics with clients and vendors.
• Financial Management: Manage invoicing and ensure timely payment follow-up for all catering and events using Square.
• Event Logistics: Help coordinate event-day specifics including staffing, timelines, equipment, and communication with vendors.
• Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling tasks and provide light administrative support using Homebase, keeping all records organized including contracts, event details, and client communication history.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional with experience in the service industry.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in the service industry, comfortable with basic invoicing and scheduling software, including Square, or demonstrating a quick ability to learn new tools.
• Skills: Excellent written communication skills to effectively represent Piscator, detail-oriented, and able to remain calm and organized under pressure during high-volume periods. Must be a self-starter capable of managing multiple concurrent tasks without errors.
• Bonus: Based in or near Brooklyn, with some availability for evening and weekend events or pop-ups as needed.
