Business Management Trainee | Triumvirate Environmental
The Tone:
This is a full-time trainee program at Triumvirate Environmental, located in Somerville, MA. What You’ll Actually Do
• Training & Development: Participate in Triumvirate’s comprehensive on-boarding and training program, including safety protocols and compliance, to gain knowledge of hazardous waste management processes and industry standards.
• Operational Immersion: Gain hands-on experience in the field for the first six months alongside industry professionals, understanding Triumvirate’s business model, various services, and assisting in maintaining an efficient environment.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Beyond the initial six months, collaborate with senior leadership across various departments such as Operations, Logistics, Consulting, and Sales to provide quality deliverables.
• Client Engagement: Shadow experienced team members to develop professionalism and effective communication during client interactions, assisting in training clients on chemical safety and hazardous waste management, and seeking process improvement opportunities.
• Strategic Project Support: Provide assistance in critical areas like spill response measures and project management tasks, supporting an Executive, Director, or Senior Manager with special business projects to expand your skills for future career opportunities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Business Management, or a related field. This is an entry-level position designed for career growth.
• Experience: A strong interest in business development and/or sales is required, along with the ability to work in the field to understand the environmental services industry.
• Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and time management abilities, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. You should be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously and completing tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
• Bonus: Previous internship or work experience in Business Management, a strong academic background with a high GPA, and excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse personnel.
