Job Description: Business Management Intern (Summer 2026)
Role Title: Business Management Intern
Program Duration and Type: This is a 10-week, paid internship opportunity.
Start Date: The internship is scheduled to begin on May 27th, 2026.
Location: The internship will be based at the company’s site in Coleman, OK.
About the Role:
Amrize is seeking a Business Management Intern for Summer 2026. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sustainability, driven by curiosity, and eager to grow, learn, develop, and thrive within a high-performance culture. Interns will gain valuable insights into the Aggregates Mining Industry and contribute to the company’s efforts in finding more sustainable ways to build.
What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities):
As a Business Management Intern, you will learn about the aggregates mining industry and undertake various tasks, including:
• Planning and leading weekly/monthly calls to present production and spending goals.
• Reviewing current P&L’s (Profit and Loss statements) and developing strategies to lower monthly costs.
• Building relationships with vendors and acquiring adequate knowledge of equipment to ensure correct inventory ordering.
• Operating the scale house and performing general administrative duties.
• Providing support to the Plant Manager and Production Supervisor in maintaining and operating the plant.
• Upholding all company safety, environmental, and health standards.
What We Are Looking For (Qualifications):
Amrize is seeking enthusiastic students who meet the following criteria:
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a major in Business Management or Business Administration.
• Demonstrated strong academic performance.
• Possession of excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task effectively.
• An energetic approach and eagerness to tackle new projects and ideas.
• A team-oriented mindset, capable of working collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to spend time out in the field to gain firsthand knowledge of the business operations.
Schedule and Environment:
• Work Schedule: This is an onsite role requiring a mandatory 40-hour work week, typically Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour shift each day.
• Work Environment: The role involves working in both an office setting and out in and around the plant and site grounds, performing a variety of managerial tasks to support operational needs.
• Transportation: Interns are solely responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from their worksites.
• Travel: There may be instances of travel to other sites for tours, shadowing experiences, or intern events throughout the program.
