About the Job: Business Management Associate Internship at Cargill Animal Nutrition and Health

This internship is specifically within Cargill’s Animal Nutrition and Health business, which focuses on improving animal lives through better nutrition. The team conducts research, innovation, and creates solutions that deliver healthy results for customers.

Internship Role: Business Management Associate Intern

As a Business Management Associate Intern, individuals will gain hands-on experience within Cargill’s Animal Nutrition business, demonstrating their potential fit with the organization. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of challenging aspects of the business.

In addition to daily responsibilities, a significant project will be assigned at the beginning of the internship, designed to build exposure to diverse work and cross-functional teams.

Internship Details:

Duration: Typically 12 weeks during the summer (May/June – August).
Compensation: Paid hourly, with an expected rate of $22.50-$26.00 per hour, dependent on graduation date and eligibility for full-time employment.
Transportation: Interns are responsible for their own transportation to and from work.
Potential for Future Roles: Outstanding performance and curiosity may lead to offers for a return internship, co-op, or full-time position the following year.

Job Locations:

Various U.S. locations, including but not limited to: Shippensburg, PA; Olathe/Kansas City, KS; Amarillo, TX; Wayzata/Minneapolis, MN. The majority of the work week will be in the office, with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements.

Required Qualifications:

• Right to work in the U.S. not solely based on a student visa or third-party employer sponsorship.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited program in supply chain, operations, business, sales, finance, agribusiness, business analytics, animal science, economics, ag-economics, leadership studies, or a related degree.
• Graduating between December 2026 – August 2028.
• Proven ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Geographically flexible and willing to relocate for an internship opportunity anywhere in the U.S.
• Able to complete a 12-week internship in the summer (May/June – August).
• High degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
