What You’ll Actually Do
• Prospect: Generate new business opportunities through outbound cold calling, personalized email outreach, and social selling.
• Qualify: Pre-qualify inbound and outbound leads by understanding customer pain points and aligning them with New Relic’s solutions.
• Collaborate: Partner with Account Executives to research target accounts, identify key personas, and create tailored outreach strategies.
• Manage: Grow a pipeline of prospects while maintaining consistent communication to nurture early-stage opportunities.
• Achieve: Exceed daily, weekly, and monthly metrics, including qualified meetings and pipeline contribution, while delivering a positive customer experience.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career sales professional with a passion for sales and aspirations to grow into a closing role. This role requires grit, drive, and the ability to thrive in a goal-oriented environment.
• Experience: 1+ years of sales experience, specifically in a high-volume outbound prospecting capacity. Candidates should have comfort with cold calling and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities are essential to effectively engage prospects at all levels. Critical thinking skills are also required to analyze customer needs and tailor messaging to specific challenges.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include prior experience in SaaS or technology sales environments. Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and sales engagement tools such as LinkedIn, 6sense, and sequencing tools is a plus. Additionally, proven success in creating and managing outbound prospecting campaigns, along with a customer-first mindset and enthusiasm for understanding technical solutions, will be highly valued.
