Business Development Internship at American Express
This internship offers the opportunity to join an innovative and passionate team dedicated to making American Express an indispensable partner for their merchants. The team focuses on delivering differentiated products and services to drive revenue growth for both merchants and American Express.
As a Business Development intern, you will:
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the merchant & network business and its needs.
• Conduct research on the external/competitive landscape and data analysis to help American Express improve performance and drive growth.
• Use innovative ways to prospect for new customers and improve the customer experience.
• Help lead external partnerships to drive new opportunities and expand the business.
• Develop relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the design and execution of strategic initiatives, developing/implementing tests to measure effectiveness.
• Help build executive presentations on strategic topics to be shared with senior management and/or partners.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program.
• Graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.

Salary Range:
• $24.05 to $63.00 hourly + sign-on bonus.
Note: This is the expected salary range. The actual salary will be determined based on factors like location, experience, and job-related factors.
