What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Identification: Actively assist in identifying potential clients by researching target markets and evaluating business opportunities.
• Market Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to gather crucial insights on industry trends and competitive landscapes.
• Lead Generation: Generate new business leads and support the qualification process to build a robust sales pipeline.
• Strategic Support: Contribute to broader business development endeavors, supporting strategic initiatives and growth opportunities.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure cohesive customer outreach and engagement efforts.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, indicative of a strong foundational understanding relevant to business development. This role is suited for a student eager to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in conducting market research, coupled with a clear interest in lead generation and identifying new business opportunities. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar productivity tools is also required.
• Skills: Possesses strong analytical capabilities for interpreting data and trends. Exhibits excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective internal and external interactions. Shows an ability to provide exceptional customer service and is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a hybrid work environment.
• Bonus: Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software is a significant plus, indicating readiness to adapt to sales and client management systems.
