Summer Intern | Venture Starters
The Tone:
This is a remote, certificate-based internship at Venture Starters, a public service platform that supports startups by connecting them with interns and investors. The company fosters a fast-growing global startup community, hosting live Zoom pitch meetings to help founders build teams and solve world problems. This role provides an unparalleled, direct view into the startup ecosystem, allowing interns to observe founders and investors in action, and understand how new ventures are formed and funded, all without interrupting school or current employment.

• Mission: To gain first-hand exposure to the startup world by observing pitch meetings, learning from founders and investors, and connecting with potential startup opportunities.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Attend: Attend eight (8) Venture Starters Free Pitch Zoom meetings, each lasting two hours, over a 3–6 month period starting early 2026.
• Observe: Observe startup founders as they pitch their real companies and listen to insights from investors sharing what they look for in early-stage ventures.
• Learn: Learn first-hand how ideas evolve into funded startups, how early-stage teams form in real time, and what investors truly care about.
• Engage: Optionally engage with startups presented during the meetings to explore separate internship opportunities directly with founders.
• Complete: Fulfill the total 16-hour commitment to receive a Certificate of Completion, eligible for listing on your résumé and LinkedIn profile.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student. Demonstrated interest in startups, entrepreneurship, or venture capital.
• Experience: No specific years required. Comfortable working independently and remotely.
• Skills: Able to attend a 2-hour Zoom session and observe content effectively.
• Bonus: Experience with events or communities is a plus, though not required.
