Business Development Intern | Hunter Engineering

This is an internship at Hunter Engineering, located in Bridgeton, MO. Hunter Engineering is a family-owned, American-made company that builds cutting-edge automotive service equipment, recognized as a global leader in its field. This role assists the Director of Business Development in analyzing key accounts and identifying new growth segments, contributing directly to the company’s strategic future.

• Team: Reports to the Director of Business Development; collaborates with Product Management and Marketing teams; supports Executive Management.
• Mission: Assist in analyzing Key Accounts and determining segments for growth.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite (Visio, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Key Account Analysis: Assist the Director of Business Development in analyzing Key Accounts and determining segments for growth.
• Product Strategy: Work with the Product Management team to assess current strategy and future opportunities across product lines.
• Marketing Insights: Assist the Marketing team in analyzing research and applying findings to future initiatives.
• Executive Support: Support the Executive Management team with special projects.
• Global Sales Assessment: Assess Global Sales opportunities and Hunter’s Global Sales structure.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Business.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Visio, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word). Must be eligible to work in the United States with no sponsorship.
• Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, excellent verbal and written communication, time management, detail-orientation.
• Bonus: Pursuing an MBA from an accredited MBA program.
