• Mission: Lead a team to grow sales, build customer loyalty, develop business strategies, and ensure operational integrity while safeguarding the firm’s reputation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales Strategy: Develop comprehensive sales plans, drive individual production goals, and cultivate strong referral networks both internally and externally.
• Team Leadership: Implement activity-based coaching plans, develop employee skills, lead the hiring process, and manage performance and compensation for branch staff.
• Client Management: Execute integrated sales, relationship, and credit strategies aligned with Retail Bank priorities to deepen existing relationships and acquire new clients.
• Operational Oversight: Conduct daily proof processes, investigate controllable losses, ensure adherence to operational controls, and manage overall branch efficiency.
• Risk and Compliance: Appropriately assess business risks, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and supervise staff activity to uphold ethical standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience; senior management professional in banking or the financial industry.
• Experience: 6-10 years of relevant experience, with a preference for sales management experience. Required registration or willingness to register as a mortgage loan originator with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing and obtain a unique identifier from the Registry.
• Skills: Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills; consistently demonstrates analytic skills.
• Bonus: Master’s degree preferred; previous experience in banking or the financial industry preferred.
