Behavior Therapist | Beyou Behavior Therapy

The Tone:
This is a part-time role at Beyou Behavior Therapy, located in Sacramento, CA. Beyou Behavior Therapy provides compassionate Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children on the autism spectrum. This Behavior Therapist role offers hands-on experience in play-based therapy, directly supporting children to develop essential life, communication, and social skills. You will make a meaningful impact by helping children and their families thrive in meaningful ways.

• Mission: Help children on the autism spectrum build essential life, communication, and social skills while supporting families.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliver: Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to children.
• Implement: Execute behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Support: Aid in the development of children’s communication, social, and self-help skills.
• Collect: Gather and record session data as required for client progress.
• Maintain: Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years old and committed to culturally responsive, compassionate care for children.
• Experience: Prior experience working with children, such as through babysitting, tutoring, coaching, or teaching.
• Skills: Consistent availability required Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Reliable transportation and willingness to commute within the Sacramento service area. Ability to obtain CPR certification, complete a TB test, physical exam, and provide proof of vaccination.
• Bonus: Proficiency in French is a plus.
