Behavior Technician | Cortica
The Tone:
This is a part-time role at Cortica, with flexible scheduling options, located in Burlington, MA. Cortica is dedicated to designing and delivering life-changing care for children with neurodevelopmental differences. As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct behavior-analytic services, implement positive strategies, and help children build on their unique strengths using a neurodiversity-affirming ABA model. • Pay: $23.62–$31.69 hourly
• Team: Collaborates with and receives expert coaching from Lead BTs, ABA Assistant Supervisors, and ABA Supervisors.
• Mission: Empower children with neurodevelopmental differences to build on their unique abilities and thrive.
• Tech Stack: EMR systems, Microsoft Office tools.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide Services: Deliver 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences.
• Implement Strategies: Apply positive behavior strategies developed in collaboration with your BCBA to create meaningful progress for families.
• Document Progress: Accurately record session data to track and support individual treatment goals.
• Collaborate & Support: Work closely with families and supervisors to build supportive environments for children.
• Follow Protocols: Adhere to Cortica’s crisis protocols, including de-escalation and mandated reporting procedures.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience working with children.
• Experience: Willingness to obtain your Board-Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) credential within 90 days of your start date.
• Skills: Ability to consistently travel between client sites within a 30–40-minute radius using reliable transportation.
• Bonus: Experience with autism, or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
