Job Description
About the Job: Part-time Behavior Technician
Cortica is actively seeking enthusiastic and dedicated part-time Behavior Technicians to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in helping children with autism and other developmental differences build essential communication, play, social, and daily life skills through the application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
We pride ourselves on being a unified team of doctors and therapists specializing in neurodevelopmental disorders. As a Behavior Technician at Cortica, you’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in children’s lives while gaining invaluable hands-on experience in psychology, education, and healthcare. All experience levels are welcome to apply, as we provide comprehensive training and cover all certification costs.
At its core, ABA operates on the principle that behavior can be systematically studied and improved. By identifying the underlying motivations for behavior, we can effectively teach new skills, encourage adaptive behaviors, and reduce maladaptive behaviors, fostering positive developmental outcomes for our clients.
