What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Experience: Craft and serve a diverse range of beverages including cocktails, beer, and wine, alongside bar bites, ensuring a welcoming and exciting atmosphere for all guests.
• Compliance & Safety: Diligently monitor and manage alcohol sales and consumption in strict adherence to NC Liquor Laws, meticulously checking identification to confirm the minimum age requirement of 21 years.
• Bar Operations: Manage inventory by tapping beer kegs, stocking bottled beverages, and maintaining the bar, preparation, and all assigned areas in a clean, orderly, and well-stocked condition.
• Financial Accuracy: Accurately balance shift reports and cash drawers, and efficiently process credit card payments.
• Guest Relations: Answer general guest questions and provide comprehensive information about the Carowinds property, park, and local area attractions.

• Background: Must be at least 21 years old and possess the initiative to uphold Carowinds’ reputation and dedication to safety, service, courtesy, cleanliness, and integrity.
• Experience: Not explicitly stated in years, but requires the ability to quickly learn and efficiently operate a Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
