The Tone:
This is an in-person role at Nordstrom, located at Perimeter Mall, focusing on specialty coffee. As a Barista, you will be an integral part of the store’s customer experience. The TL;DR

• Pay: $15.15–$15.75 hourly
• Mission: To consistently prepare and serve beverages and food items while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Beverage Preparation: Consistently prepare and serve a variety of beverages according to all established recipe standards, ensuring quality and taste.
• Food Service: Prepare and serve food items, adhering strictly to all recipe guidelines to maintain consistency and excellence.
• Customer Engagement: Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the preparation and serving process, creating a welcoming and positive experience for every guest.
• Product Expertise: Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge about coffee, tea, and other drink preparations and products, enthusiastically sharing this information with customers.
• Operational Support: Actively assist with various operational tasks including setup of the service area, cleanup procedures, managing stock, and proper handling of all food items to ensure smooth daily operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Experience: Proven capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Skills: Possess a valid food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations.
• Bonus: 1+ year experience in food service or hospitality.
