This is a hybrid internship at CohnReznick, located in Dallas, TX. The TL;DR

• Team: Works closely on an engagement team made up of other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
• Mission: To support audit teams by gaining hands-on experience with accounting and auditing practices, assisting with client engagements.
• Tech Stack: Excel, PowerPoint
What You’ll Actually Do
• Work on all aspects of an audit engagement, including cash management, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
• Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and various accounting services for diverse clients and industries.
• Resolve audit issues by obtaining necessary evidence and making inquiries of clients.
• Support the audit team with daily client workflow and engagement tasks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, on track to complete 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Experience: Successfully completed Intermediate Accounting with a grade of B or higher. Possess leadership experience in student groups, activities, or team projects.
• Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, demonstrate sharp critical thinking, comfortable navigating fast-paced environments, embracing change, advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, and eager to learn new technologies.
