Internship Term:
The Audit Winter 2027 Internship is scheduled from ~January to March 2027. The exact end date may vary by office/team.

Work Model:
This position is considered hybrid. Team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional about in-person collaboration. While the specific cadence is team-determined, professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

Industries: CohnReznick serves a wide array of clients across various industries, including Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (industry exposure varies by office).

Your Role as an Audit Winter Intern:
As an Audit Winter Intern, you will play a key supporting role within the audit teams. You will gain hands-on experience with core accounting and auditing practices, be exposed to diverse clients and industries, collaborate with seasoned professionals, and receive mentorship designed to accelerate your development.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
• Work on various aspects of an audit engagement, including cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
• Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
• Participate in resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients, while assisting the team with daily client workflow.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:
Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
CPA Eligibility: On track to complete 150 credit hours (between May 2027 – September 2028) for CPA eligibility.
Academic Performance: Minimum 3.2 GPA in both your major and overall coursework.
Coursework: Must have successfully completed Intermediate Accounting with a grade of B or higher.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience in student groups, activities, or team projects.
Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills and demonstrate sharp critical thinking.
Adaptability: Comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and embracing change.
Technical Proficiency: Must have advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and be eager to learn new technologies.
Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Compensation:
In New Jersey, the salary for an Audit Winter Intern is $34 per hour. This salary is part of CohnReznick’s comprehensive total rewards package, which also includes access to best-in-class learning and development platforms.
