This Audit Summer Intern role contributes by performing essential accounting and auditing procedures to support client engagements.

• Team: Works closely on a team made up of other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
• Mission: Become familiar with accounting and auditing procedures and perform procedures in accordance with firm standards in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Engagement: Work on various aspects of audit engagements, including cash, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable.
• Liability Management: Search for unrecorded liabilities and maintain confirmation logs.
• Documentation: Prepare audit work papers to support engagement findings.
• Client Support: Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services for clients.
• Issue Resolution: Resolve audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting. Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status.
• Experience: Plan to complete 150 credit hours for CPA licensure between May 2028 – September 2029. Successfully completed two accounting courses prior to the start of the internship. Minimum 3.2 GPA in both major and overall coursework.
• Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, strong computer literacy, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Bonus: Prior work or internship experience, or held leadership positions in student organizations, extracurricular activities, or team projects.
