Leadership Development Analyst | JM Test Systems, LLC.

The Tone:
This is a full-time leadership development program at JM Test Systems, LLC., located in Baton Rouge, LA. JM Test Systems is a technical services company providing test equipment sales, calibration, and service across the United States and Canada. This program is designed for graduating students seeking real responsibility early in their careers and a clear, accelerated path to leadership within a growing organization. The role is critical for building a strong leadership bench to support the company’s expansion through both organic growth and acquisitions.

The TL;DR
• Role: Leadership Development Program Analyst
• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person, Baton Rouge, LA

• Team: Reports directly to the VP of Corporate Development & Strategy
• Mission: To learn how the business operates by being deployed to critical areas, solving problems, and driving strategic initiatives, with a clear trajectory to a permanent leadership role.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deploy & Lead: Deploy to the division, function, or initiative with the greatest need across the company, supporting the work initially and then leading defined pieces of the effort.
• Analyze & Plan: Quickly learn unfamiliar operations, gather the necessary data, identify root causes of challenges, and translate findings into actionable plans for the business.
• Drive Strategic Initiatives: Support and take on ownership within strategic initiatives such as acquisition integrations, system implementations, establishment of new locations, and development of new service models.
• Build Front-Line Credibility: Build strong relationships and earn trust with technicians, supervisors, and various functional partners by engaging directly on the front line.
• Present & Grow: Present progress, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership, while actively participating in regular development and readiness reviews to foster career growth.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree, graduating by spring or summer 2027. This is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates.
• Experience: Demonstrated evidence of leadership and ownership through campus leadership roles, internships, athletic participation, military service, or working while pursuing education.
• Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills; a genuine curiosity about how businesses operate; comfort with ambiguity and adapting to changing priorities; and a willingness to travel extensively.
• Bonus: Coursework, internships, or prior experience in business, engineering, supply chain, finance, or operations; or previous exposure to technical, industrial, or field-service environments.
