What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Dive directly into hands-on client work, collaborating with experienced professionals on diverse projects.
• Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and documentation to identify tax-saving opportunities, compliance considerations, or potential risks.
• Reporting Support: Assist with the preparation of tax returns or participate in assurance engagements and audit documentation.
• Technical Research: Support teams in tax research, planning strategies, or the evaluation of internal controls and financial reporting processes.
• Team Collaboration: Interact and collaborate with professionals across the firm to deliver practical solutions and support client service initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level accounting major pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to apply skills in data analysis and reporting.
• Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving abilities; Strong attention to detail; Ability to work effectively and collaboratively.
• Bonus: Minimum 3.3 GPA; On track to meet CPA eligibility requirements with a clear plan to pursue licensure; Interest in pursuing a full-time career in public accounting.
