• Mission: This intern will gain hands-on experience across various audit functions, directly supporting governmental and non-profit clients through detailed transaction testing and financial statement preparation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Testing: Perform detailed testing of various financial transactions, including cash receipts, cash disbursements, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Financial Statement Support: Assist in the preparation of comprehensive financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Schedule Development: Aid in the creation and compilation of essential financial schedules for clients.
• Audit Exposure: Gain valuable practical experience by being exposed to multiple areas and aspects of audit work within the firm.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Sophomore or Junior status currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, or an undergraduate or graduate degree with sufficient coursework to qualify for CPA licensure.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, a robust dedication to teamwork, and unwavering integrity within a professional environment.
• Bonus: Reliable transportation to facilitate work in firm offices and on client premises.
