Audit Intern – Spring 2028 – Central Region | Weaver

The Tone:
This is a temporary audit internship at Weaver, located in the Central Region, which requires travel to client sites as needed. What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Play an integral role in supporting client engagements during the peak season, collaborating with teams dedicated to providing unmatched service to a diverse client base.
• Hands-on Work: Conduct hands-on client work, operating from either a Weaver office location or directly at the client’s office as required.
• Audit Exposure: Obtain broad exposure to a diverse range of clients and become familiar with multiple different sections of the audit throughout the internship period.
• Training & Development: Benefit from comprehensive training, encompassing both structured formal sessions and practical on-the-job learning experiences throughout the duration of the internship.
• Professional Connections: Build and maintain lasting professional connections with fellow interns, Weaver Leaders, and other professionals across the firm.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with the goal of obtaining the credit hours necessary for CPA licensure.
• Experience: Ability to travel to client sites as needed for work with various clients; demonstrated familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook applications.
• Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills; a positive attitude; a growth mindset.
