Audit Intern – Spring 2028 – Central Region | Weaver

The Tone:
This is a seasonal internship at Weaver, located within the Central Region with required travel to client sites. Weaver is a full-service national accounting, advisory and consulting firm that emphasizes a human element in accounting. This role is integral to client engagements during peak season, serving as a valuable first step in a long-term career with the firm. Interns will gain extensive practical knowledge and make lasting connections, contributing to Weaver’s commitment to providing unmatched service to clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Contribute to client audit engagements during peak season.
• Perform hands-on client work, either from a Weaver office or client sites.
• Gain exposure to multiple clients and various sections of the audit.
• Apply practical knowledge and skills learned through formal and on-the-job training.
• Build lasting connections with fellow interns and Weaver Leaders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with the goal of obtaining the credit hours necessary to become a CPA.
• Experience: Demonstrated familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Skills: Excellent written and oral communication, positive attitude, and a growth mindset.
